Starting Fresh: Better Late than NEVER!

My life as I continue to pursue my passion as a Voice Artist.

To tell you frankly, to be a professional Voice Artist is not my childhood dream. I really don't know what I like when I am growing up, even now that I am a teacher, this is not my personal choice. Kung sa praktikalan lang talaga, okay na rin na nag-teacher ako kasi may fixed na income. For me, I work just to earn and to provide my family and personal needs. For almost 8 years of working, that is my routine. Do the things that are expected from me to do. Nothing more, nothing less. Kung iisipin, medyo may pagka-BORING ang buhay ko. kulang sa timpla at kulay ika nga nila. I am so comfortable to stay in my box. Living the life without chasing something that I really wanted to do. Ngayon lang. As in lately ko lang na-realized na kailangan kong mag-take ng risk for this opportunity na ibinigay sa akin. This time, I want to decide for myself and experience to fail without any regrets. And my journey starts now. Too late for me? I guess not!

First Week of Training

“Availability is the best Ability.”

Paano ko ba sisimulan? Ang bilis lang din kasi talaga. Until now, hindi ako makapaniwala na tinaggap ko 'tong challenge na ito to know where this passion will lead me. Nagsimula lang sa mga tiktok Voiceover Challenges videos. Kapag stressed talaga ako sa trabaho at kailangang huminga sandali, I just open my Tiktok account and watch videos to uplift my spirit. until one of my firends send me a video and he said na subukan kong i-voiceover. For me, it's just for fun. Enjoy ako sa ginagawa ko ehh. but after a day or two, this one guy named PAPALEM ( a.k.a. VOICE PAPPY) messaged me asking kung gusto ko ba daw maging scholar sa Program ng CVAP. without any knowledge about CVAP at that moment, I really don't know what to say and out of nowhere, I replied "YES!" The other day he asked why do I want to become a scholar for the program. Hindi ko pa rin alam ang isasagot talaga, pero nagpakatotoo na lang ako saying na 'I know I have the potential to be part of the scholarship'. Then he said, 'great. We are Live right now at fb and if you are free, please watch it to have some idea about the CVAP'. Then I watched the live session. And from there, everything changed!
